The ReNEW is an LED light engine designed to work in conjunction with the lens and shutter assemblies of the Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) Source Four® ellipsoidal (and the Altman Phoenix), without compromising optical quality or fixture brightness. And it’s easy to install – it takes less than five minutes to replace the reflector and lamp assembly of the ETC Source Four with the ReNEW-LD 2.0 LED.
An improved LED light engine means that the ReNEW 2.0 is 35 percent brighter than the original ReNEW. With the 2.0 retrofit kit installed, fixture output exceeds that of a 750W Long Life HPL lamp. It is line dimmable, draws 215 watts at full power and can be operated on standard theatrical and architectural dimmers, as well as simple manual dimmers. When connected to nondim power, the unit will turn on to full intensity.
The ReNEW-LD 2.0 is designed around a chip-on-board (COB) LED light source array paired with a specially designed reflector and lens. The lens and reflector combination provide optimal illuminance distribution through the Source Four lens. ReNEW works with all ETC lens tubes – both standard and Enhanced Definition Lens Tubes (EDLT), all Source Four accessories and is also compatible with Altman PHX lens and shutter assemblies.
The ReNEW-LD 2.0 offers a choice of two color temperatures: a white light LED with a 3,000K color temperature and a white light LED with a 5,600K color temperature. A DMX version is available, allowing fixtures to be operated with one, two, or three channels of DMX control.
The ReNEW 2.0 Assembly offers multi-voltage power input from 90-240 VAC 50/60Hz. Power is connected and can be fed through the unit via two (2) Neutrik® powerCON® connections. Up to four ReNEW 2.0 units may be linked via power thru connectors.
An additional power connection is available for a 9V DC battery to operate the control panel for quick setup or shop preparation without need to connect primary full power to the unit.
