Breaking ground on a church building project is a pivotal moment for any congregation. Months, or even years later after conception, it’s the building contractor who is responsible for delivering the desired result: a quality, new building, within the designated budget, and within a specific time line. Please note, this is not a recognition category based on beautiful pictures, nor one that recognizes architectural design, it is meant to reward excellence in executing the construction process and intended deliverables.

We are seeking submissions which reflect real and tangible examples of a how the building contractor has served the need of the church through the planning and execution of the project with emphasis on timely completion, preconstruction contribution and effective cost control.

Today’s churches are designed to complement the church’s objectives or connect with its audience or targeted demographic. Awards are given for new construction projects, expansions, renovation projects for both traditional and contemporary church designs.

In today’s culture, having a solid security processes and technology in place are necessary, to ensure the safety of your facility and most importantly, your staff, congregation and visitors.

Digital and online technologies have become a prevalent means of building and enhancing community, delivering the message and organizing for action. Examples include, podcast, streaming, social media outreach, testimonial or promotional video, short films. Tell us how your planning or leveraging technology or strategies to be more effective.

Churches: Are you leveraging these technologies to connect with members or expand your reach? Do you have an especially effective website, podcast, e-newsletter or social media/networking initiative? Tell us how embracing a media or communication technique, plan or program has benefitted the church, extended outreach or connected your community.

Tech and arts ministries are vital to today’s church. Leading a tech arts team in a house of worship requires a unique blend of talents: both technical and personnel management skills.
